The XRP Documentary
Notably, the filming company Fruition Production is undertaking the production of the documentary XRP Unleashed.
Significantly, the documentary seeks to encapsulate intricate details of recent events surrounding XRP and Ripple, from the U.S. regulatory lawsuit to the ensuing market turmoil, including Bill Hinman’s controversial speech granting Ethereum a “free pass.”
The team explored this theme through discussions with prominent crypto influencers, financial advisors, Ripple personnel, and legal experts.
In the trailer, Zach Rector asserted that the SEC aimed to assert control over the digital asset realm, leading them to target Ripple, particularly XRP.
He claimed the SEC targeted XRP because the asset posed the most significant threat to the established banking and financial system.
Likewise, attorney John Deaton remarked that the U.S. government could be perceived as one of the “biggest bullies” globally. He mentioned reviewing the complaint against Ripple, expressing concern about the detrimental impact on individuals who had invested their life savings in XRP.
Concluding the trailer, Deaton teased “regulatory capture 101,” which he called ETHGATE, an enduring scandal about Ethereum’s favorable position in the sight of the U.S. SEC.
Notably, the Fruition Production team has disclosed that the XRP documentary will be accessible on streaming platforms such as Netflix.
