Bone Contract Renunciation
The first on the list was related to the proposed BONE contract renouncing. Lucie stressed that this particular initiative is market-focused as it is poised to have a significant market impact.
For context, the contract renouncing refers to giving up ownership of the BONE token contract. It implies that the issuer of BONE will lose its authority over it as BONE transforms into a trustless and fully transparent entity.
Moreover, the issuer will lose the ability to create additional BONE tokens.
Some people have argued that the most prominent crypto exchanges, like Binance, have not listed BONE because its contract is yet to be renounced. Notably, BONE trades on some of the top-rated centralized exchanges.
Shibaswap 2.0 and Others
Furthermore, Lucie highlighted Shibaswap 2.0 among the significant milestones for the Shiba Inu community on the horizon.
ShibaSwap 2.0 is the forthcoming iteration of Shiba Inu’s decentralized exchange. New features and improvements expected on it include support for more tokens and lower fees.
Other Shiba Inu-theme products Lucie mentioned included the TREAT token, Shibahub, and the Metaverse. Regarding their expected launch timelines, Lucie remarked, “When it’s ready.”
Additionally, Lucie acknowledged that progress takes time. She encouraged the community to maintain a positive and collaborative spirit. She cautioned that progress could be slow without unity and spreading positive vibes.
No Promise of Moon
Moreover, Lucie drew parallels with the Shibarium project, noting that the lineups are steps into building the Shiba Inu ecosystem. She stressed that unveiling the incoming projects is not intended to pump prices.
In her words:
“Are we promising wild moon? No! We’re talking about technology that’s separate from the market.”
Yet, she acknowledged the market’s inherent significance in the broader scope of the development efforts.
