Shiba Inu Team Dismisses “Silliest Stupid Rumor” About SHIB
Shiba Inu’s team lead dispels rumor that the team is paying the media for constant news coverage
Lucie, the marketing strategist for the Shiba Inu project, has openly denied allegations that the team is paying media publications to provide regular coverage of the latest SHIB developments. Lucie labeled any such claims as the “silliest stupid rumor about SHIB!” and used a laughing emoji to drive home the point.
According to the prominent SHIB team member, media publications that feature SHIB content are largely organic. However, such companies chose to prioritize SHIB news because “it is what people want to read.” Lucie adds that even naysayers are interested in the “undeniably attractive” SHIB ecosystem and usually want to stay updated.
Meanwhile, the marketing strategist also reflected on how such wide coverage could eventually drive more public interest in Shiba Inu. Lucie recommended that every crypto investor holds at least 10 million SHIB (approximately $72), reminding followers that “the spotlight [on SHIB] leads to demand, which drives adoption and growth.”
The silliest stupid rumor about $SHIB! 😂
Some claim that articles are paid for – Not true!$SHIB gets mentioned because it’s what people want to read. News portals thrive on clicks and engagement due to their ads. They won’t cover projects no one’s interested in.

Latest developments driving interest in the SHIB ecosystem
Amid the ongoing crypto bear market, social signals remain high for Shiba Inu following several upgrades and features introduced by the memecoin project. Prime among those developments is the recent launch of Shibarium, an Ethereum-based layer-2 network built by the team behind Shiba Inu.
The newly launched network has processed an estimated three million transactions and added over two million wallets in less than a month after its launch. Shibarium has also led to an increase in the number of staked BONE assets, as validators must accumulate and stake the token to process transactions and receive block rewards. Even an Italy-based restaurant has integrated Shibarium to enhance its customer experience.
Granted, these developments have not had a corresponding effect on the price of SHIB as the memecoin remains more than 91% below its previous all-time high. However, Lucie, like most in the SHIB community, believes that the upgrades will provide a bedrock for the project to thrive when the bull market kicks off.
