The Ledger team improved Conway features and conformance testing, addressing a key problem that could have hindered Conway functionality after the bootstrap phase. They also finished the full definition of the Conway CDDL specification in Haskell, representing an important milestone in their ongoing work.
Scaling efforts
The Hydra team improved network resilience, ran the Hydra head on preview, and modified it to be compatible with the most recent Cardano node to ensure smooth operation during the upcoming hard fork.
The Mithril team has released the updated distribution 2430.0, which adds compatibility for Cardano node 9.1.0. They activated Cardano transaction certification on the release-preprod and pre-release-preview networks, which includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
Catalyst Progress
Onboarding is going well, with 91% of onboarding forms and 81% of milestone statements submitted, and 36% of milestone statements signed off by reviewers. Town Hall 173 was held on Wednesday, July 31, and was the final town hall for Fund12.
Educational Initiatives
The education team concluded a successful CardanoDeveloper course at the UTN in Buenos Aires and organized a graduation ceremony for over 20 aspiring smart contract developers. Furthermore, the team updated Mastering Cardano content and supported the Constitutional Committee’s training efforts, proving their dedication to providing individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to prosper in the Cardano ecosystem.
The Cardano development teams have been actively driving innovation and growth on multiple fronts, laying the groundwork for an active and productive ecosystem.
