Notably, Uphold announced the winner of its October XRP campaign thirteen days after the promotion ended. An X user disclosed that he initially doubted the reality of the campaign as it took a while for the ultimate victor to be declared.
Donald Z emerged victorious in the draw that followed the keenly contested activity among numerous qualified entries. Following the October XRP Sweepstakes conclusion, Uphold has declared a grander XRP prize offering in its continuous campaign.
How to Win Uphold’s 50,000 XRP
The exchange has announced a significant 150% increase in the XRP bounty for the November edition. In particular, Uphold plans to give one lucky trader on its platform, like Donal Z, 50,000 XRP after emerging from the draw to be conducted at the end of the November XRP Sweepstakes.
Per the outlined rules of the competition, it takes a $20 trade to qualify for the draw. The exchange noted:
“For every $20 of eligible trades you make on our platform, you’ll get an entry into the sweepstakes. This means the more you trade, the higher your chances of winning.”
Meanwhile, the $20 trade counts only after an intending participant has opted to partake in the giveaway. Besides, not all transactions of $20 and above are valid for the contest.
Uphold has noted the activities that hurt a participant’s chances of winning. Specifically, invalid entries encompass transactions such as “depositing a fiat currency into the same fiat currency,” withdrawals and transferring crypto between Uphold users.
It is worth mentioning that Uphold’s XRP giveaway is open only to residents of the United States, excluding New York.
