Ambrus Studio Unveils New Gaming Experience on Sui Blockchain

PALO ALTO, CA — Ambrus Studio, a prominent game development studio, has revealed its upcoming series of games powered by Sui, a layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform.

Through a partnership with Mysten Labs, Sui’s original contributor, Ambrus Studio will enhance its user experience by leveraging Sui’s unique gaming functionalities, integrating Web3 elements into both E4C game titles, Fallen Arena, and Final Salvation. The PC game E4C: Fallen Arena launches today and is accessible to play on Ambrus Studio’s website.

E4C: Fallen Arena, the PC prequel to the multiplayer online battle arena game E4C: Final Salvation, a mobile game, shares Final Salvation’s original IP and incorporates original artwork from Ambrus Studios’ NFT series, the E4C Rangers. Players engage in fast-paced combat in a toxic, smog-filled arena, collecting crystals to earn points.

In-game assets, such as upgradeable skins, become on-chain assets in the Sui ecosystem, enabling players to earn $E4C and Combat Tickets exchangeable for Ranger NFTs, $E4C, rare weapons, and heroes – items usable in both Final Salvation and Fallen Arena.

“The movement of assets between games in the E4C ecosystem is the actualized dream behind Ambrus Studio,” said Johnson Yeh, Founder of Ambrus Studio and former Riot Games Asia Pacific CEO.
“Being able to move your hard-earned assets from one game to another has never been possible until Web3: the seamless integration and use of NFTs and tokens from the E4C ecosystem is redefining player experience.”

He added, “And it’s not just one player at a time – with Sui’s help, we are able to accommodate a large number of players without compromising their gameplay. We can’t wait for the E4C to experience Fallen Arena and then Final Salvation.”

“In-game assets generated by players in Fallen Arena, soon to be followed by Final Salvation, are the perfect test case for the actual definition of the metaverse–where users own their assets and ownership centers around the consumer,” said Evan Cheng, CEO of Mysten Labs and Original Contributor to Sui.

“In the past, Web3 gaming has largely failed to deliver on its promise to redefine player ownership, but the games Ambrus is producing are actually playable, fun, and designed for a mass audience – made possible by Sui’s speed, security and composability.”

E4C: Final Salvation is slated for release in Q2 of 2024.
