Bitcoin Magazine CEO: A Trump Victory Will Trigger a Bitcoin ‘Space Race’
David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and crypto aide for the Trump campaign, believes that Trump’s victory in the upcoming election could trigger a bitcoin ‘space race,’ as countries rush to accommodate their policies to align with the U.S. Bailey also stated that they have secured several 7-figure commitments for Trump’s pro-crypto $100 million war chest.
Bitcoin Magazine CEO Heralds New Bitcoin ‘Space Race’ Age With Hypothetical Trump’s Victory
Bitcoin has become a relevant factor in the U.S. elections. David Bailey, the CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and aide of the crypto policies for the Trump campaign, believes that a hypothetical Trump victory will change the crypto landscape in the U.S. and the world.
Bailey declared that Trump’s win would trigger a Bitcoin “space race,” with several world nations repositioning their crypto stances to the changes coming in the U.S. Also, it would establish the cryptocurrency industry as an important lobby for coming elections.
In this regard, Bailey stated:
No future administration will ever mess with us again. We will have proved it’s political suicide. Instead they’ll seek our support.
Bailey’s remarks come after he disclosed his involvement in helping former President Donald Trump’s campaign with its cryptocurrency approach. He also shared an update on raising a $100 million war chest to support President Trump’s pro-crypto campaign, disclosing he had received “several 7-figure commitments” for this objective.
“Commitments rolling. We can absolutely get to $100m,” he stressed, declaring that the number, while not astronomical, would be sufficient to impact the upcoming campaign. He explained:
“$100m is ~10% of the total amount of money the campaign will raise. It puts us on par with Big Energy. 2x bigger than the NRA. It’s significant.”
Crypto might be a determinant element for the upcoming election’s outcome. A recent survey conducted by The Harris Poll and commissioned by Digital Currency Group (DCG) found that crypto is emerging as a critical issue among voters in key swing states.
