CoinEx Features Shiba Inu and RTM In Its “Best Performer” Tournament

Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx has announced the fourth edition of its 2024 tournament featuring Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Rapotreum (RTM).

In a recent tweet shared by its official X Spanish handle, CoinEx urged its followers to predict which cryptocurrency between SHIB and RTM will have the best price performance this week.

Rules of the Competition

Participants are required to vote for their favorite cryptocurrency and also tag the token’s official X handle in the comment section.

Notably, the competition started on January 22 and will end later today. At the time of writing this line, the fourth edition of the competition would close in the next nine hours.

The cryptocurrency with the best price-performance in USD between January 22, 00:00, and January 28, 23:59:59 UTC, will be selected as the winner.

Additionally, the exchange will randomly select a user from the list of people who participated in the tournament and correctly predict the result.

According to the announcement, the user will be rewarded with 506 CET for their accurate prediction.

CoinEX’s 2024 Tournament

For context, CoinEx officially kicked off the tournament on January 15, 2024. Eight crypto projects were randomly selected for the contest. The idea is to determine the token with the best price performance each week.

In the first week, CoinEx announced two duels featuring XVS Vs. HIVE and NEAR Vs. ATOM. At the end of the first round, XVS and ATOM emerged as duels 1 and 2 winners, respectively.

Following the completion of the events, CoinEx announced duels 3 and 4 this week. In the third duel, TON will battle with FOX from January 22 to January 28 to determine the best performer. Similarly, Shiba Inu will take on RTM in the fourth duel in the same timeframe.

Winners of duels 3 and 4 will be randomly paired with the winners of duels 1 and 2. CoinEx will continue the process until one winner emerges.

At the time of writing, Shiba Inu was up 3.8% over the past 24 hours to $0.00000897. On the other hand, RTM was trading at $0.00119, down 0.4% in the past day.

Beyond the tournament, CoinEx is a major supporter of Shiba Inu. The exchange allows users to buy and sell Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB and BONE. As reported in December 2022, the exchange held a whopping 1.69 trillion SHIB tokens in its reserve.
