Eigenpie Releases $egETH to Redefine $ETH Staking
Eigenpie is launching its liquid restaking coin $egETH to boost Ethereum staking. It enables the consumers to restake the $ETH tokens straight on Arbitrum. With this, Eigenpie offers an unparalleled integration withEigenLayer’s framework. Simultaneous to this, it also maintains access to DeFi forums on preferred networks.
Eigenpie unveils a couple of unique modes for liquid restaking to cope with diverse user needs. One of them is fast restaking while the other is slow restaking. In the fast restaking, the users can restake $ETH in minor amounts straight on Arbitrum with no need for cross-chain interactions. Eigenpie by default supplies a small $egETH amount for Arbitrum-based smart contracts to enable instant restaking. Users get $egETH while restaking $ETH tokens deposited into the smart contract. This mode ideally handles smaller transfers and demands a nominal fee for smooth operations.
On the other hand, the slow restaking facilitates cross-chain transfers for those handling big $ETH amounts. In this respect, they deposit $ETH tokens into Eigenpie through Arbitrum. Subsequently, these coins are bridged to Ethereum L1 for restaking through Chainlink CCIP. This whole procedure typically takes nearly thirty minutes. Following the completion of the restaking, the users get $egETH tokens on Arbitrum.
Chainlink CCIP’s integration plays a crucial role in this development. The resilient infrastructure of Chainlink ensures efficient and secure cross-chain transfers, linking Arbitrum consumers to EigenLayer-based benefits. This partnership highlights that Eigenpie is determined to innovate cross-chain accessibility and DeFi experience.
The Development Suggests a Move Forward to Offer Community-Led Advancement
According to Eigenpie, its liquid restaking options denote a huge leap in the advancement of the DeFi landscape. By coping with the different requirements of the $ETH holders, the company focuses on solidifying the EigenLayer ecosystem along with providing unprecedented flexibility. The initiative suggests Eigenpie’s dedication to executing community-led ecosystem collaboration and progress. The platform is reportedly endeavoring to revolutionize the Ethereum staking with such advancements.
