FLOKI “NOT Doing Any Airdrops”: Warns Community Over Fake Airdrop Scams

Floki Community Alert

In a recent Twitter announcement on Sept. 24, Floki issued a warning to Floki community, alerting them to the presence of malicious actors attempting to deceive and exploit unsuspecting users.

Beware of fake $FLOKI airdrop messages. They are SCAMS!#FLOKI is NOT doing any airdrops and does not intend to do any.

Scammers have devised a deceitful “Floki Airdrop” scheme, enticing Floki holders with promises of free tokens. However, Floki has categorically stated that there is currently no legitimate FLOKI airdrop in progress.

Connecting wallets or engaging with any websites associated with these fake airdrop promotions can potentially lead to the loss of funds.

This is not the first instance of Floki cautioning its community about the prevalence of scams. In a Reddit post last month, the team highlighted the emergence of numerous scam groups claiming to offer FLOKI airdrops. Importantly, the Floki team clarified that they have no affiliations with these fraudulent entities.

Floki’s team underscores the significance of relying on official and verified sources of information. Users are strongly advised not to place trust in any announcements on Twitter that do not originate from the official FLOKI handle.

Floki is a leading meme coin on the BNB Chain and the fifth-largest by market capitalization in the blockchain industry. This exposure makes it an attractive target for scammers seeking to exploit its community.

As of writing, FLOKI is trading at $0.00001575, according to CoinMarketCap.
