Brave Frontier Versus Leverages Sui Network Blockchain for Enhanced Gaming Experience
Brave Frontier Versus, a sequel to the world-renowned Brave Frontier series, attempts to combine classic gaming with cutting-edge blockchain technology.
This fusion is intended to improve the overall in-game experience for gamers. The Sui Foundation’s developers will contribute to the development money, as will gC Games, a gumi Inc. affiliate.
This agreement demonstrates the Sui ecosystem’s capacity to attract initiatives from other blockchains. Notably, the Oshi Token (OSHI), a vital component of the OSHI3 project, will be largely moved from the Polygon network to the Sui blockchain. Hiroyuki Kawamoto, CEO of gumi Inc., stated:
“The Sui ecosystem is a fantastic example of a blockchain project that is focused on the needs of the gaming industry. We are confident this collaboration will elevate the Brave Frontier Versus gaming experience and further expand the economy of Oshi token to reach across the world.”
The Sui Network was chosen for this project specifically because of its object-centric model based on the Move programming language. Sui has unrivalled performance and scalability, making it a great platform for hosting games like Brave Frontier Versus, which require high throughput and dynamic in-game economics.
Anthony Palma, Gaming Partnerships & Investments Lead at Mysten Labs, which created the Sui blockchain, commented on the shift, saying that the migration of OSHI to Sui shows that professional game developers are recognizing the Sui platform’s unique possibilities.
He stressed that Sui is pushing the limits of what is possible in Web3 gaming, and Brave Frontier Versus will be an excellent demonstration of the strength of this premier technology platform.
In addition to its collaboration with gumi Inc., Mysten Labs has announced the imminent release of SuiPlay0x1, the world’s first lightweight handheld gaming device with native Web3 capabilities.
This device, which incorporates Sui blockchain technology, will run both traditional and blockchain games and is set to launch in 2025. The release of SuiPlay0x1 is expected to transform the gaming industry by making blockchain gaming more accessible to a wider audience.
Furthermore, the Sui Network has made headlines for its excellent performance numbers. According to CNF, the Sui Network processed 2.14 billion transactions in 2024, outpacing big networks such as Tron, Polygon, and Ethereum.
In addition, SUI, the network’s native coin, has performed well in the market. At the time of writing, SUI was trading around $1.00, up 15.49% over the last 24 hours. The daily trading volume increased by 235% to $432.69 million, bringing the market cap to around $2.606 billion.
Furthermore, Sui Network’s collaboration with Arden to develop an on-chain loyalty gamification platform and reward marketplace demonstrates the network’s possibilities. The Sui Network’s speed and scalability have dramatically improved Arden’s consumer engagement platform, enabling a global reward marketplace.
