Name Behind the Fake Satoshi Account on Twitter Reveals His Identity: Here’s Fake Satoshi Nakamoto
The name behind the @satoshi account, whose value is estimated to be extremely high on the social media platform X, revealed himself and revealed his identity.
The account, which published a post on X, stated that the account has belonged to Craig Wright since 2018, following a purchase agreement with the previous owner.
Craig Wright is a person who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin, but has not been able to prove it and is thought to be a fake Satoshi. Wright claims that the current BTC has broken away from its originality, which is why he founded the Bitcoin SV altcoin, which he claims is a faithful cryptocurrency.
In the post made from the account, it was also stated that the @satoshi account was stolen from Craig Wright on January 1. According to the statement, the person who stole the account constantly sells the username to others and then takes over the account management again.
The fake Satoshi account claimed that hackers had discovered a vulnerability on X that allowed them to take over any account. He even argued that the SEC official account, where the fake Bitcoin Spot ETF approval news was shared, was also compromised in this way.
Satoshi account, who said that he could not fully manage the account at the moment, asked for help from Elon Musk.
