Official Deadline for Spot Bitcoin ETFs Has Ended! A Company Did Not Update Its BTC Application! Is Approval Next? Fox Reporter Evaluated the Latest…
While approval for spot Bitcoin ETF applications is awaited from the SEC this week, all companies except one have updated their applications.
According to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, the SEC’s official deadline to update ETF filings has passed.
Except for Hashdex, which is one of the companies that applied for a spot Bitcoin ETF, all companies, including Grayscale, Ark, Blackrock, BitWise, VanEck, WisdomTree, Invesco, Fidelity, Valkyrie, Franklin Templeton, have submitted updated versions of their spot Bitcoin ETF applications.
According to the Fox reporter, companies that update their applications, except Hasdex, may receive approval from the SEC within this week.
“We are now officially past the deadline and all issuers except Hasdex have filed updated S-1 forms.
So unless a last-minute application arrives from them today, here are the issuers that have submitted all their paperwork and will theoretically be ready for approval this week:
Grayscale, Ark/21Shares, Blackrock, BitWise, VanEck, WisdomTree, Invesco, Fidelity, Valkyrie, Franklin.”
We’re now past the official @SECGov submission deadline of 8AM and all issuers aside from @hashdex have submitted their updated S-1’s (S-3 in Grayscale’s case).
So unless there’s a last minute filing from them today, these are the issuers that have handed in all their homework…
