Shiba Inu Team Confirms SHIB has No official LinkedIn Account
Shiba Inu’s community admin, RagnarShib, has warned cryptocurrency exchanges starkly.
In a tweet yesterday, RagnarShib emphasized that Shiba Inu does not have an official LinkedIn.
SHIB HAS NO OFFICIAL LINKEDIN
One more thing that I want to make aware mostly to Exchanges. I continue receiving messages from listing managers from exchanges telling me they are receiving offers to list SHIB in the Fantom chain. There’s no FTM version of SHIB and there’s no…— RagnarShib.eth (@RagnarShiba) October 10, 2023
According to RagnarShib, several crypto exchanges disclosed that they have been receiving offers to list the Fantom chain version of SHIB. Apparently, these messages were sent via a LinkedIn account claiming to be affiliated with Shiba Inu.
No Fantom Version of SHIB
Reacting, Ragnar noted that SHIB does not have a Fantom version or an official LinkedIn account.
“There’s no FTM version of SHIB, and there’s no Official SHIB LinkedIn,” Ragnar stated.
He noted that Shiba Inu currently has one LinkedIn account for its metaverse project, Shib: The Metaverse. Marcie, a Metaverse Advisor at Shiba Inu, manages the account.
Furthermore, he shared a link to Shiba Inu’s official Linktree page, where enthusiasts can easily access all official portals of the cryptocurrency.
Ragnar’s Previous Warning About Fake SHIB on Fantom
Meanwhile, this is not the first time RagnarShib has warned the community and exchanges about fake versions of SHIB on other blockchains.
Earlier this year, Ragnar drew public attention to a fake version of SHIB created on the Fanthom blockchain. At the time, Ragnar warned that SHIB is only available on the Ethereum blockchain while dismissing claims that the crypto asset also exists on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC).
I just received a tip from a discord mod that they are also saying we are in BSC blockchain. Again we are ERC20 only. Don’t fall for those scams.

Hackers Target Shiba Inu Community
It bears mentioning that Shiba Inu is among the most popular cryptocurrencies in the industry. SHIB has an enthusiastic community spread across various social media platforms.
Sadly, malefactors are taking advantage of the community-driven nature of Shiba Inu to prey on unsuspecting SHIB investors. These hackers have taken their exploits to the next level by impersonating top Shiba Inu team members.
The Crypto Basic has reported on multiple occasions how hackers have impersonated Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, to promote fake giveaways. In July, scammers impersonated Kusama to promote a fake Shibarium giveaway.
Shiba Inu Team Warns Community
Interestingly, the Shiba Inu team has continued to expose these potential scams to keep the community safe. In a recent X post, Shiba Inu’s marketing expert Lucie warned exchanges and portals to be more vigilant against impostors claiming to be associated with the cryptocurrency.
Her warning comes a few days after RagnarShib’s Telegram account was compromised. As reported earlier, hackers took over Ragnar’s account to promote scam giveaways.
In a recent update, Ragnar revealed that he has regained access to his Telegram account. Ragnar added that he also enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) on his social media accounts, including X (Twitter).
