Surprising Bitcoin Fight in Hong Kong: 3 People Detained, 6 People Wanted!
Hong Kong, which is on its way to becoming a cryptocurrency center, has recently come to the fore with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETF) ETFs, but this time it came to the fore with a fight incident.
According to The South China Morning Post, a 19-year-old young man was beaten by nine youths.
According to the news, the 19-year-old was beaten because of the profits he made from his cryptocurrency investments.
Accordingly, a group of young people met at the Harbor Grand Kowloon Hotel in Hung Hom to meet each other and trade cryptocurrencies. These people demanded that the young victim of the incident give them the cryptocurrency profit of HK$180,000 (approximately $23,000). When the young victim did not give the money, he was not allowed to leave the room and was beaten with baseball bats by nine young people in the room.
The young victim reported the incident to his friend. His friend also called the police and the police rescued the 19-year-old victim.
While six people from the group who learned that the police had arrived at the scene managed to escape, the police could only catch three people.
The police continue to search for the six people who escaped while they detained three young people on allegations of injury, deprivation of personal liberty and blackmail.
