To highlight, Jason Sarria-Solis shares WadzPay’s bold vision for transforming digital payments through blockchain technology and stablecoins. Jason says that the project is ready to redefine the landscape by targeting burgeoning markets, surpassing conventional financial paradigms, and bolstering transaction stability.

The AMA then began with Jason Sarria-Solis talking about what WadzPay is up to in the stablecoin sector. He delves into WadzPay’s vision for stablecoins. Here, he quotes a famous line by Kissinger “Follow the money, money controls the world”.

He talks about how private companies can issue money making these unprecedented times. He mentions how during his time in Ripple central banks talked about how soon all money will be on-chain indicating that what Ripple and WadzPay are doing is the future.

Talking about the lack with intermediaries and SWIFT being outdated, Ripple chose to be the network of payments to bridge currency. However, he talks about how intermediaries don’t want to count on an unstable crypto like XRP.

Thus, the need for stablecoins to move value reliably across borders is crucial. WadzPay is doing just this and although Ripple and Tether have had an earlier start, Jason believes WadzPay will answer the call. With Ripple having announced its stablecoin RLUSD, the race has become more fired up than ever.

Jason Sarria-Solis has over 20 years of experience in fintech and technology. In the AMA he mentions his qualification, his time in Ripple and then mentions his first crypto purchase. Here, he reveals that he bought Bitcoin in 2016.
