What’s next for Maren Altman, the crypto-predicting OnlyFans astrologer?

There was a time — just a couple of years ago, in fact — when cryptocurrency was so hyped and such a hot asset class that individuals with absolutely no experience in finance, tech, or economics were proudly giving away financial advice and spinning up projects promising to innovate and change the world as we know it.

One of the most interesting examples of this problem was astrologer, actress, singer, and model Maren Altman, who not only suggested that horoscopes could predict price direction for numerous crypto assets but also started her own ‘astrology-based blockchain system.’

However, despite claiming to possess the keys to a system that, if true, would surely bring untold riches, Altman is turning her back on crypto and embarking on a career in OnlyFans modeling and appearing YouTube videos about whether the opposite sexes can be friends.

And while it may look like a massive professional about-turn, the rebrand from crypto pump predictor to online relationship guru looks to have worked, with Altman now boasting nearly 1.5 million followers on TikTok and nearly 250,000 followers on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. Her Twitter account is private.

In the wake of the reframing, Altman appears to have abandoned several projects and stopped getting paid for price calls, with some even suggesting that she exit scammed her blockchain project Astrace.

Altman now appears in highly scientific videos about whether men and women can be friends.

425 days and Altman has nothing to show for it

Astrace, which bills itself as “an astrology oracle so good, you can trade with it,” has little to show for its $500,000 pre-seed round that was raised in 2022. Indeed, Altman’s Astrology-Crypto newsletter now links to a dead page, and the last upload in her ‘Market Updates’ YouTube playlist was over two years ago.

What does exist is a token contract on Polygon from November 30, 2022. However, there have been no interactions with it for months.

Meanwhile, the team members behind Astrace — mostly anonymous X (formerly Twitter) accounts — have either completely scrubbed their accounts or are impossible to get in contact with.

Thankfully, Altman appears to be gainfully employed, and alongside her active OnlyFans account, she’s offering a $1,500 astrology course, 15-minute astrological chartings for $200, and has a burgeoning music career.

Protos has reached out to Altman for a comment and will update if we hear back.
